A gourmet experience featuring unique Cape Cuisine with Phillippa Cheifitz, award winning cookbook writer and food editor on Woolworths Taste and Femina magazines, who will give a short talk on a modern history of eating in Cape Town plus discuss her approach to food in her two favourite cookbooks Cape Town Food (Struik) and Lazy Days (Quivertree).
The menu will be based on the recipes in the book; contemporary cooking using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients.

Transport:Transport will be available to all delegates in possession of a Gourmet Evening ticket; and will operate between 18h30 and 18h50 from the CTICC. Return transport will operate between 21h00 and 22h00 to appointed hotels.
