New Integrated Poster Service For Figo 2009

XIX FIGO World Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics has chosen the innovative web-based platform, PosterSessionOnline, to organize printing of posters and to develop an exclusive virtual poster gallery for this year’s FIGO WORLD CONGRESS in Cape Town.

Your poster will be displayed for 6 months on the FIGO 2009 virtual gallery free of charge.

We kindly ask all authors to upload their finished posters in PowerPoint format, 1 slide only, and lower than two MB via the PosterSessionOnline website. Choose Display Only (free), or the Print & Display option (85€ / $105 approx. + tax) if you wish us to print your poster as well.
Please do not send posters by e-mail.

The Print & Display service checks, prints and delivers your poster to the Congress venue for collection on-site, guaranteeing that all posters arrive in perfect condition. E-posters will also be uploaded for display online from 21st September 2009.

Please note that you are required to prepare a physical copy of your poster for the presentation at the Congress regardless of whether you are using our service or your local printers.

NEW! All posters will be registered with the DOI system. DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is the standard reference for any digital object of intellectual property, similar to ISBN for books. It is associated to metadata about the publication and allows referencing in future works, including abstracts, CVs, journals, etc. Look for the DOI code on the lower band on your poster.

Deadline for sending posters - 21st September 2009 at 12 midnight Central European Time.

Production is on photographic-quality paper of 200 g/m2, using 4-colour printing. Six separate checks are implemented to ensure a perfect, error-free poster.
