A representative of Aquila Private Game Reserve will meet at the main/front entrance of the Cape Town Convention Centre. You will then travel via the scenic Du Toitskloof Pass and endless winelands to Aquila Private Game Reserve (Driving time ± 2hours). A welcome cocktail is served on arrival, and this is followed by a scrumptious breakfast.
Aquila has the Big 5 which includes; Lion as well as free roaming Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and rare Mountain Leopard and is also home to Giraffe and Hippo. Large herds of game are found on the Reserve such as Black Wildebeest, Burchell's Zebra, Springbok, Gemsbok, Steenbok, Caracal (lynx), Blesbok, Bat Eared Fox, Ostriches, Klip Springer, Duiker, Greybuck, Baboon, Black Backed Jackal, Eland, Red Hartebeest.
Commence with a 2-3 hour game drive in a 4x4 Safari vehicle with an experienced ranger. Snacks and drinks are included whilst taking in the sights at one of the lookout points or waterholes. A highlight, during the game drive, will be a visit to a Khoi San rock art site.
Enjoy a buffet lunch in the restaurant, which overlooks the crocodile dam before your return trip to Cape Town.
