| Tour Features: In the last century, the Pilansberg served as a sanctuary of a different kind - Mzilikazi's rebel Zulu warriors passed through the area as they fled the wrath of Chaka. Not long after this, during the Anglo-Boer war, General Christiaan de Wet's hid from the British amongst these same hills.

Johannesburg - Pilansberg (L & D)
You will be collected from your Sandton hotel or OR Tambo International airport at ±08h00. En-route visit the Elephant Sanctuary in the Magaliesberg Mountains. You will be introduced to the elephants in the forest area, and here you will be able to touch and interact with the elephants. Lunch is included at the Elephant Sanctuary.
On arrival at Pilansberg National Park check in to your accommodation.
You will have the rest of the afternoon at leisure to enjoy the facilities of the lodge. Dinner will be taken at the lodge.

| Day 2: |
Sun City (B & D)
After breakfast depart on an early morning game drive into the magnificent Pilansberg Game Reserve. This is Big Game country at its best.
On your return you will take a shuttle transfer to Sun City for the rest of the day. On arrival at Sun City, enjoy a guided tour of The Palace before venturing off on your own to see what's on offer at Sun City.
This African fantasy-world immerses visitors in the atmosphere of an ancient and exotic civilisation. Far from the sea, yet a beach paradise, the Valley of Waves is a main feature of Sun City! (Entrance fee for your own account). Plunge down thrilling water chutes - both open air and subterranean - or bob around on The Lazy River Ride. Tan and relax on a gentle sloping palm-fringed beach while sipping ice cold drinks under the hot African sun. Adventure Mountain is tailor-made just for kids - a safe environment where they can play on the waterslides and frolic in the pools.
Sun City has a combination of features unmatched anywhere in the world. There are many optional activities (Some activities may incur additional expenses for your own cost) which you can enjoy such as tennis, squash, swimming, golf, mountain biking and horse riding. There are also lots of watersports and guests can parasail, water ski, canoe and wind surf. Less active water enthusiasts can enjoy a Sunset Cruise. Spectacular scenic 3km and 5km jogging trails surround both golf courses and the Sun City Gym and Health Spa help keep you perfectly toned. Beauty treatments are also available and are the perfect way to wind down after a good workout.
Other activities include golf, Valley of the waves, Kwena Gardens crocodile sanctuary, The Village people - cultural experience including arts and crafts, butterfly world, horse riding, the bird aviary and animal world.

In the late afternoon, transfer back to Bakubung for dinner and overnight.

A final early morning game drive, followed by breakfast and then their is leisure time at your hotel before departing on your road transfer back to Johannesburg.
