Sun City is the most prestigious resort in South Africa. Furthermore it also ranks as one of the worlds premier resorts. No expense has been spared in creating a fantasy world with superb recreational facilities and hotels which most people will only imagine in their dreams. The complex has four hotels, two world class golf courses and a water world with a full range of water sports. Another unique feature is the Valley of the Waves where developers have created a large wave pool, with sand beach and palms. Up to two meter high waves are created and it is possible to try some surfing on these. Slightly less dramatic but still a tremendous feat, is the man made forest in front of the Palace Hotel - 25Ha in area it has more than 1,6 million plants in it including a man made rain forest. Other entertainment options include an abundance of cinemas, gambling halls, theatres, shopping facilities and a choice of restaurants and bars to suit everyone's taste and palate.
The tour starts and end in Johannesburg and on the road transfer in on day 1 there is a visit to Elephant Sanctuary in the Magaliesberg Mountains. Overnight accommodation is in the magnificient Cascades Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. Day two is an early morning open vehicle game drive into the magnificent Pilansberg Game Reserve - Big Game Country at its best - and then leisure time to enjoy the resort. Day three is more leisure time at the resort and then a return road transfer to Johannesburg. Lunches, dinners and any of the host of additional activities offered by the resort would be for your own expense.
